The formation of post-rock outfit moonswimmer is proof that sometimes, all we need is to be in the right place at the right time. The group formed in 2025 in Savannah, GA, where none of the members are originally from.

moonswimmer consists of Luke Rovner (guitar/vocals), Rocky Hutchins (drums/vocals) and Greg Halbkram (bass). Each member brings a wealth of musical experience and a unique background and influence to the table. Their sound is exploratory yet focused, diverse yet cohesive, blending elements of driving indie, ethereal new-wave, and groove-heavy psych rock.

The trio's self-produced single, "Coldflash" released in June of 2026 and can be found on Bandcamp and all streaming platforms. They are constantly working on writing and recording new material and playing shows regionally.
